Vanilla is a climbing plant that grows naturally in tropical rainforests. At our plantation, we grow our vanilla plants sustainably, without using harmful pesticides or chemicals. Additionally, vanilla plants play an important role in the local ecology, providing vital habitat for many species of animals and plants.

Our sustainable growing practices help reduce deforestation in the area, as vanilla is grown without the need to clear forests for agriculture. Furthermore, our production techniques also reduce the carbon footprint, as we use manual and traditional methods instead of heavy machinery and other resources that can have a negative environmental impact.

Vanilla Tour

If you are interested in seeing what the daily work of a vanilla producing farm is like, don't think twice and come visit us. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and visitors will learn all the secrets of vanilla cultivation, from planting the cuttings to processing the pods.

The flowers of vanilla vines are hermaphrodites, this means that they contain the male and female parts, and are not self-fertilized by a tissue called Rostellum, which covers the stigma.
